On 22nd August 2026, the children of St Joseph’s Home enjoyed a wonderful day out to Gunung Jerai, filled with laughter, friendship, adventure and beautiful memories.

The outing began with an exciting van ride from Yan up to Gunung Jerai. As the van climbed higher, the children enjoyed the changing scenery and the cool mountain surroundings. Their excitement grew as they arrived at Gunung Jerai Park, ready to explore and have fun together.

One of the highlights of the day was a visit to the Panoramic View Bridge. The children had a fantastic time taking in the beautiful views from the glass bridge, posing for group photographs and enjoying the experience together. There were plenty of smiles, laughter and playful moments as they made the most of the spectacular surroundings.

After the morning’s adventures, everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch and strawberry ice-cream together. The shared meal was a wonderful opportunity for the children, caregivers and accompanying adults to relax, chat and enjoy one another’s company.

A day at Gunung Jerai may have ended, but the smiles and memories will stay with us for a long time.
